Fire started outside Assembly Member's Dinas Powys surgery

A FIRE was started outside the doorway of Murchfield Community Centre in Dinas Powys on Friday (January 20) - as Assembly Member Jane Hutt held a constituency surgery inside.
The fire was started at around 5.45pm by - according to a volunteer at the community centre - young people using mixture of paper and sticks "Jane Hutt and her assistant put out the fire themselves," they said.
"There was no damage, but it did cause a bit of smoke."
Jane Hutt said: "This was a minor incident which I reported to the Murchfield Community Centre."
