BARRY'S Memo presents The ‘Children of the Revolution’ Tour T.Rextasy on Friday, March 2, at 8pm.
On September 8, 1972 a record that would inspire future generations was released by the one of the most flamboyant and charismatic bands of the original glam rock era.
Marc Bolan and T.Rex stormed the charts with one of his most memorable and distinctive songs of that decade – ‘Children of the Revolution’.
Forty years on the song has become iconic, along with Bolan’s other best-selling anthems of that year that included Metal Guru, Solid Gold Easy Action, and Telegram Sam.
T.Rextasy have been performing around the world for 20 years, and the band is now accepted as the world’s only official live tribute band dedicated to Marc Bolan and T.Rex.
It is the only band endorsed and approved by Marc Bolan’s family, estate, original ex-members of T.Rex, and Bolan’s catalogue management.
